* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a bike larceny that occurred at 110 Rouzie Drive. Case is under investigation.
August 15
* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Emad A. Tadrous, 24 years old of Warsaw for Possession of Marijuana.
* The Tappahannock Police Department with the assistance of the Virginia State Police and Essex County Sheriff's Office arrested, Waleed Nagi Mahamed Alashmali, 19 years old of Tappahannock for 2 Felony counts of Sell/Give/Distribute Synthetic Cannabinoids that occurred at A and N Tobacco.
* The Tappahannock Police Department with the assistance of the Virginia State Police and Essex County Sheriff's Office arrested, Nagi Mohamed Alashmali, 53 years old of Tappahannock for Sell/Give/Distribute SCH I/II drug and 2 Felony counts of PWI: Sell/Distribute Synthetic Cannabinoids that occurred at A and N Tobacco
* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a purse snatching that occurred at Wal-Mart. Case is under investigation.
August 17
* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Avery D. Bundy, 21 years old of Urbanna for Possession of Marijuana 1st offense, and Petit Larceny 1st offense.
