* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Tiffany N. Griffin, 24 years old was arrested for Driving while suspended, possession of stolen license plates, no valid registration.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a bike larceny that occurred at 110 Rouzie Drive.  Case is under investigation.

August 15

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Emad A. Tadrous, 24 years old of Warsaw for Possession of Marijuana.

* The Tappahannock Police Department with the assistance of the Virginia State Police and Essex County Sheriff's Office arrested, Waleed Nagi Mahamed Alashmali, 19 years old of Tappahannock for 2 Felony counts of possession with intent to sell/distribute synthetic cannabinoids, 2 Felony counts of sell/give/distribute synthetic cannabinoids, 1 Felony count of sell/give/distribute Schedule I/II that occurred at A and N Tobacco.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a purse snatching that occurred at Wal-Mart.  Case is under investigation.

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Avery D. Bundy, 21 years old of Urbanna for Possession of Marijuana 1^st offense, and Petit Larceny 1^st offense.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of an assault.  Warrant has been obtained.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of Larceny that occurred at Virginia Barbecue. 

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Gene Frederick Cauthorne, Jr., 29 years old of Dunnsville for DWI:2^nd offense within 5 years, Refusal of blood or breath test, 1^st offense, Texting while driving.

August 6

* Cynthia Gail Washburn, 56 years old of Farnham was arrested for assault and battery that occurred on August 5, 2013.

August 7

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a counterfeit bill that was passed at the Fas-Mart/Valero.  Case is under investigation.

August 9

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of Larceny that occurred at Tallie's Auto.  Case is under investigation.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of Domestic Assault that occurred at 112 Winn Court. 

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of an Hit and Run that occurred at 1392 Tappahannock Boulevard/Tappahannock Towne Center.  Case is under investigation.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of Vandalism that occurred at 659 Foxchase Drive Apartment 6.  Case is under investigation.

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Edwin Thomas Lee, 55 years old of Tappahannock for Petit Larceny, 3^rd offense, Destruction of Property, Identity Theft: use to avoid arrest

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of a counterfeit bill that occurred at Roma's.  Case is still under investigation.

* The Tappahannock Police Department took a report of Burglary that occurred at 659 Foxchase Drive.  Case is still under investigation.

* Clifton Tyrone Reece, 34 years old of Center Cross was arrested in Henrico County for (4) Felony counts of Uttering and Forgery and (2) Felony counts of Petit Larceny 3^rd+ offense for an incident that occurred on June 18, 2013.

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Kenneth Watson, 24 years old of Tappahannock for Trespassing at the Essex Trailer Park.

*Malassa Jenean Elliott, 42 years old of Tappahannock for Violating a Protective Order.

* The Tappahannock Police Department arrested, Noemi A. Lopez, 26 years old of Manassas for Reckless Driving to wit an accident, Driving under the influence.
